Our Adult Beef* dry food has been prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung). FSG is a method of preparing fresh meat. It comes from the kitchen rather than the feed industry. It was modelled on techniques that top chefs often use to prepare meat, in a tastier and also healthier way.
With FSG (Fleischsaftgarung), fresh meat is cooked in a vacuum at low temperature, using only its own meat juices. After a long cooking time, during which the moisture of the meat juice is slowly reduced, this dry food is created.
The dry food Adult Beef prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung) is primarily cooked meat which means following for your dog:
extra tasty,
as nutritious as BARF,
excellent for building muscle,
quickly digestible,
effectively absorbed and
chewable-soft due to the meat juice.
Our dry food also reduces the risk of gastric torsion because it does not swell in the stomach.
Safe and honest For you, we have our dry food tested regularly and independently by one of the most renowned test centres in Germany, ELAB Analytik GmbH (formerly TÜV SÜD ELAB). What is tested:
Our fresh meat content: Checking recipe compliance at the point of preparation
For contaminants, to protect the health of your best friend
Our declaration
* Our dry dog food prepared with FSG has a new, elegant design, although the preparation method and recipe remain unchanged, of course! As part of the new design, we have also unified the names of the products. You will therefore find our Beef+Potato dry food under the name Beef. However, in order to be environmentally conscious, we are not disposing of the remainder of the previously used pouches, but are of course using them up. The innovative new pouches will therefore gradually replace the old ones - starting with Adult Chicken in 5kg pouches. The other varieties and packaging sizes will also be gradually replaced, probably by April.
Food change We recommend an immediate change of dog food without a transitional phase. Due to the differences in digestibility, mixing PLATINUM Dry Food with another dry food is not advisable.
We would also like to share our experience with PLATINUM food. After a long search for an easily digestible food for our very sensitive male Labrador, we came across PLATINUM after recommendations from friends and acquaintances, and as recommended, we made the change immediately without mixing PLATINUM with the old food. Against all expectations our little fur-nose tolerated the change really well. No more vomiting after eating and no more diarrhoea. And that’s on top of how well he accepted it. We mainly feed him PLATINUM dry dog food (Iberico+Greens), but in the evening, he also gets the wet food in the practical TetraPak. He particularly enjoys the PLATINUM Snacks, which we use for training. They work for walking at heel almost by themselves. All-round high praise for the good quality and your great service! We will stay with you!

My 1.5-year-old French Bulldog Cuba has been fed PLATINUM Iberico+Greens dry dog food for about four months. We had previously tried dry foods from other manufacturers, but we always had problems with tolerance or taste. Someone recommended PLATINUM to us and now we are loyal customers! The food smells pleasant, doesn’t swell and is easily digestible for Cuba. The fact that he runs like crazy to his food bowl every morning shows how tasty he thinks his food is.
We have also been using PLATINUM's Click-Bits and Fit-Sticks as motivation for dog sports for a while now. We have only had good experiences with these products too!
We highly recommend PLATINUM!

Before, Abby would always start refusing dry food after a couple of weeks. Her faeces were always very soft, almost diarrhoea-like. Since she started eating PLATINUM, this has all changed. I was sceptical at first whether such a small portion would fill her up, but it seems to be very filling. The best thing is that she looks forward to her food and always enjoys eating it.
Her coat is shiny.
We are particularly pleased that since she started eating PLATINUM, her flatulence has stopped.

When we got Lexi from the breeder, we used to feed her a different brand. After a while, we noticed that she wasn’t digesting the food well. Our vet recommended PLATINUM and we immediately switched.
You could see the difference after just a couple of weeks: her coat shone (we were often asked about it),
her digestion had improved, and the consistency of the food is really good.
We have been feeding Lexi Iberico+Greens for a couple of years now, because she was found to be intolerant to animal food.

Yoshi has been eating PLATINUM dry dog food since he was a puppy. He has always tolerated it very well. As Yoshi is a very active dog, he has not always eaten. For about a year now, we’ve also fed him wet food.
He loves this combination so much,
that he often jumps right onto his bowl.
Yoshi eats all the flavours, but I think his absolute favourite is chicken.
If you want to offer your dog a little variety, you can easily switch
between all types of PLATINUM food. It does not matter whether you give
wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening or vice versa. A
combination of wet and dry food in one meal is also possible, as both
forms of feeding have the same digestibility with PLATINUM.
Every dog is originally descended from wolves, the digestive tract is designed for meat. Our kibbles are designed in such a way that they can be absorbed easily by any breed from the Chihuahua to the Great Dane and they satisfy the needs of all breeds equally.
Compared to conventional dry food, which is mainly made from meat meal, the slow-cook meat juice method requires at least 70% fresh meat in order to prepare PLATINUM dry food. The difference between meat meal and fresh meat is very huge. In order to obtain meat meal from fresh meat, the fresh meat has to be heated strongly and exposed to high heat for a long time, often also to high pressure. This removes the nutrient-rich meat juice from the fresh meat in addition to the flavor carrier fat. Meat meal therefore is significantly lower in nutrients than fresh meat. We know from cooking that meat juice and fat make the roast a pleasure in the first place, which is why we do not prepare the Sunday roast with meat meal. Thanks to the slow-cook meat juice method, the PLATINUM dry food does not contain any locks or flavors, no coloring or odorous substances and no flavor enhancers.
A healthy senior dog can still be fed with PLATINUM as our food is very easy to digest and the ingredients it contains are of high quality. Please note, however, that the energy expenditure decreases with the age and the amount of food should be reduced if necessary. If an illness is discovered in your older dog, we recommend individual advice from our veterinary department.
We recommend an immediate change in dog food without a transition phase. Due to the different digestibility, it is not recomendable to mix PLATINUM dry food with any other dry food.
No, you can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
Whether you give your dog Adult Chicken, Adult Beef + Potato, Adult Lamb
+ Rice or rather Adult Iberico + Greens, you can - as long as your
four-legged friend is not aware of any intolerances - chose after your
dog's preferences. Of course, you can also switch between the four
varieties as you wish. Each of our dry foods varaities suppy a healthy
dog with a it needs.
In principle, a change is possible at any time. Different varieties can also be fed on the same day. However, we recommend feeding the opened bag first. In addition a selection in the bowl should be avoided, especially during the change phase to Platinum or if there are known intolerances.
The dry dog food is durable for 18 month after production, the wet dog food MENU is durable for 36 month and MENU Mini for 24 months after production.
